About quotes

HydrAid™ filters are shipped around the world. While the prices of the filters are predictable, third party shipping fees are not due to daily fluctuations in energy costs. There is also extensive variability in import and customs related fees amongst countries. The quoting process allows you to conveniently select your order and destination and HydrAid™’s customer support experts to research shipping options and costs for you. Depending on quantities and destinations, sometimes there are opportunities to share shipping. Upon securing that information, usually a day or two, you will be contacted about placing your order.

About shipping

Shipping fees are highly variable and change daily. HydrAid™ customer service experts will work with you to make the appropriate shipping arrangements as to destination, arrival times, carrier, and fees. Once an order is handed over to the carrier, HydrAid™ no longer has control or responsibility for the shipment. Upon arrival in the destination country, highly variable import and customs regulations, processes, and fees may apply. The use of a local third party agent to facilitate that process may be helpful particularly to those with limited experience in such matters. If shipping issues should arise in transit, HydrAid™ customer service will do its best to facilitate resolution but can not guarantee outcomes once the shipment has been turned over to the carrier.

International Aid is not a shipping company or a freight forwarder. All shipments are delivered duty unpaid. Consignee is responsible for any licenses, fees or duties that may apply. All rates are door to port only. Door to door service is available upon request.

About sand

HydrAid™’s simple design and function may be somewhat deceiving. The filter’s dependable technology is the result of extensive testing and research in the laboratory, in the field, and in daily use by families around the world. The HydrAid™ BioSand Water Filter is a sophisticated sand and water management system. At the heart of that system is multi-layered filtering media composed of gravel and sand that is highly engineered to exacting specifications. Media size, shape, consistency, volume, quantity, quality, sequencing, processing, handling, installation, and preparation are all critical factors in achieving necessary flow rates and water quality. Not any gravel or sand will do.

HydrAid™ Package purchases include appropriately engineered filtering media. HydrAid™ Lot purchases require the availability of appropriately engineered filtering media at the final destination.
