U.S. Navy Project Handclasp is a broad-based public-private partnership – involving corporations, public service organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and individuals throughout the United States – that provides logistical support for a variety of global humanitarian outreach programs. Donations provided by participating entities are packaged and delivered to U.S. Navy vessels for distribution to countries around the world. The program provides international logistics at very little cost to the donor, and no cost to the government.

Donors can also choose to contribute directly to the U.S. Navy Project Handclasp Foundation. Donations will fund pallets of filters put aboard Navy ships going to places where safe water is desperately needed, and where military service members will install them on behalf of all Americans.  For every $975 donation, 15 families, or about 150 people, will have safe water – often for the first time in their lives.

Tax-deductible donations can be made to the U.S. Navy Project Handclasp Foundation, with the designation ‘Hydraid Filters’ on the check.  100% of the donation will go toward providing filters to communities in need.
