In addition to our expanding safe-water partnerships with churches, educational institutions, rotary clubs, governments, non-government organizations, and other humanitarian groups, there are a number of key collaborators that are helping advance our vision for bringing clean water to the world.

Amway Corporation
Amway's R&D department has a commitment to the success the Hydraid BioSand Water Filter and has provided technical support through validating the technology and developing additional pre/post treatment components that increase the effectiveness of the filter. Amway donated 1,000 chlorinator/dechlorinator components for filters being sent to Haiti. Future activities will tie into Amway's One by One Campaign for Children in developing countries.

Cascade Engineering and The Windquest Group
Cascade Engineering has a commitment to sustainability and the triple bottom line. For this program they have joined forces with The Windquest Group to support the continued distribution of the Hydraid® BioSand Water Filter to people who need it.

Central Michigan University
CMU has developed a Clean Water Initiative that works on projects related to sustainable, long term usage of the filter and other relevent topic areas.

The Dow Chemical Company
The Dow Chemical company has been a strong supporter of the program from the very begining. They are donating HDPE resin to make the plastic Hydraid BioSand Water Filter. This helps us keep the price low for everyone. Dow has also helped in the past by funding a health impact study of the Hydraid® BioSand Water Filter in Africa and other activities to support the filter program such as business plan creation and videos from the oneworld campaign. We are proud to have Dow as a supporting partner.

Grand Valley State University
GVSU's Annis Water Resources Institute has been involved in studying the filter and it's applicable uses.

Rotary Clubs Sponsorship and Advocacy.
Local Rotary Districts and Rotary International are collaborating to bring Hydraid® BioSand Water Filters to those in need around the world through Thirsting to Serve.

Safe Water Team
The Safe Water Team is a Michigan nonprofit (501 c 3) that practices Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with their growing team of partners including individuals, churches and corporations. Their partners work strategically with communities, aid organizations and governmental bodies to provide families in need with a sustainable safe water delivery system for pennies per day. The goal is to provide partners with opportunities to serve those in need at a level that transcends philanthropy and focuses on education, positive social change and human sustainability.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Research.
A UNC research team, led by Professor Dr. Mark D. Sobsey, has completed a 24-month, large-scale health impact study in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic. In addition, three further research studies involving BioSand filtration are underway in Ghana, Honduras and Cambodia.

USAID and Rotary International
The H20 Collaboration is a partnership between USAID and Rotary International which gives out large grants related to Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene. Of 3 grants awarded last year, one supported a program with 9,000 Hydraid BioSand Water Filters in the Dominican Republic and the H20 Collaboration supports the plastic BioSand Water filter technology and programs.

US Navy's Project Handclasp
The US Navy's Project Handclasp has noted that the Hydraid BioSand Water Filter is the #1 requested item on all Navy ships for humanitarian aid. This program provides shipping and bringing filters through customs free of charge for donated products going to ports around the world wherever a Navy ship is going.
